The Icon Review

“Carla Golian’s THE ICON is a religious, spiritual, historical, romance tale all masterfully wrapped up in a mystery novel. THE ICON lures you in with the main character’s personal secret and then leads you on her journey for answers, paying it all off as well as any movie.

While reading THE ICON, you’ll feel as if you’ve been swept away to Paris.  And when you’ve finished the book, you’ll be questioning your own place in the universe.  A fun and thoughtful read. “

~ Jason Filardi, writer of Bringing Down the House and 17 Again

The Icon Review

I’m happy to share a review of The Icon by the lovely Aimee Ann.

“Readers now and then will come across that one book that blows them away and The Icon was that book for me. This is thanks to the unique premise, unlike anything I have read of or heard before.”

Colours Of The Côte d’Azur

I’m walking down by the water in Monte Carlo… the big blue sea sparkling its harmonious melody.

The afternoon summer breeze lifting my hair, penetrating my soul with the glow of pink and orange sunset hues.

A sailor tips his hat nodding his head – paying homage to my viral femininity. His eyes sway to the click of my heels for what seems like an eternity.

I’m wearing Chanel No. 707 on my fingertips, and 507 on my lips.

With Every Beat of My Heart

As the dust settles with the wind,

So my pen rises to settle the words wanting escape from this institution my body and mind have become.

No one direction, merely an exhalation of my emotions, a resurrection in deep need.

In the dichotomy of fragility and stubbornness, they float in limbo.

The heartbeats which beat disguise of pain or premonition.

Squeezed into a chamber, crying out for exhalation and resurrection.
